“Recently our founder Mr. Rakesh Kothari met Mr. Varun Satish Desai who is the secretary of Yuva Sena to discuss how Animal Cruelty should be stopped. As we all know that Animal cruelty is increasing day by day in our country and should be stopped. *The laws of India for Animal cruelty show that there is only a fine of Rs. 50 on the person who does any type of cruelty on an Animal. We, therefore, have requested to increase the fine to Rs.50000, and if not paid then 3 months jail time. We cannot do this without your support. So we request everyone to come forward and write a letter in the name of *Sherry and Diya Foundation* asking for help to Stop Animal cruelty. Let’s come together and Speak for the Mute souls.

We are glad to share our team's work with him and to have his support and blessings for us. 

Mr. Rakesh Kothari Met BMC officer Mr. Makranji from “E” ward

Yesterday Our founder Mr. Rakesh Kothari Met a BMC officer and a close friend Mr. Makranji from the “E” ward and gave him our newly launched one-page CALENDER which will be placed on his desk in order to support our foundation. The calendar 2021 gives all the information about our foundation and spread awareness to everyone. We thank him for his support and request everyone too to continue supporting us so that we can help our furry friends.

Kitten with the severe eye infection #RakeshKothari

The kitten was suffering from severe eye infections. It’s not uncommon for stray cats to go long periods of time without being treated for the disease. Without proper vaccinations, these animals become more susceptible to contracting random diseases.

Sadly, the lack of a caretaker means that they could be wandering around while suffering from any number of ailments, with no way of getting help. It was clear that the kittens needed help to treat their severe eye infection.

Completion of 3 Years of Sherry and Diya Foundation #RakeshKothari

We wish to inform you about the event that we organized at Nariman Point, Mumbai on completion of 3 years of our Sherry & Diya Foundation was successful. It was all because of the team members unity and assistance. People out there were really interested and showed thorough compassion towards animals as well. 

Through this event, we got to know that people are also very supportive towards animals and are strict opposers of animal cruelty. We also had a discussion with some people about the laws related to animals and all of them insisted on making stricter laws for animal cruelty. So, an overall view of the event was - people are very compassionate towards animals and are taking up efforts to make a better world for animals to live in.
